Please Note that the link to Building Passive Wealth is not working right now because I haven’t made that site live as of yet.  Stay tuned!!!

Sometimes, having too many options is not a good thing.  I’m conflicted.  I like the name of this site, but, I think it could be better.  So, I registered Building Passive Wealth.  However, I’m having difficulty coming up with what the focus of that site should be.  At first, I thought I was just going to shut down this site and operate under the new website’s name.  But then again, I also like what I’ve done with this site so far.  So, for all my fans out there, this site is still alive and well.

I’ve decided however, that I will focus on the investment side of things with my portfolio.  I’ll comment on any stock purchases I’ve made and how those purchases have increased the size of my share holdings and/or dividends annually.  So, the portfolio page will be the main one to focus on, as you will likely see the annual dividends increase – even though it’s at an incremental level.

The sister site, Building Passive Wealth, will be focused on what I’m doing to get out of debt.  This includes both my credit card (that I’ve built up to over $2000) and my student loans.  I will be following Dave Ramsey’s approach – almost entirely.  Before, it was like I was only paying lip service to Dave Ramsey’s approach, but haven’t really taken it to heart in the way I manage money.  Now, I’m going to take it to heart and see if I can achieve success as many of his followers have. I will also document my progress on Building Passive Wealth along the way.

So, for more information on what I’m doing to get out of debt and building my wealth passively, then head over to Building Passive Wealth.  Both sites will have the Dividend Portfolio because that is a key component to building my wealth passively.  I may include other aspects of my investments on the sister site, but we will see.

Time management is also going to be interesting.  I’m making about one post/update a month to this site.  I don’t see that changing anytime soon.  The portfolio page will definitely be updated monthly as I do have automatic contributions to Exxon Mobile.   Some months might see more updates than once per monthly, but we will see.

If you have any suggestions as to how to focus on the new site.  Let me know.  Otherwise, I hope you keep coming back to this site.  Leave any comments below.

I like the idea of two sites. I’m doing the same thing now. Investment Hunting will remain my personal blog about my financial journey. My new site not live yet http://www.amoneydeal.com will be about all things savings, frugality, deals, etc. Best of luck on your new site.
