Still Here

stay motivated

I know I haven’t posted in a while, but I just wanted to give let you know I’m still here.  The next few months are going to  be tough for me to post, but I’m going to try.

Work is keeping me busy, and with other things going on, posting is difficult. I’m generally a private person. Even though I have his blog, and I write about personal details, I haven’t shared greater details about my life beyond my financial perspective and experience with investing in my dividend portfolio. If I told you the reason why I’m not really able to post for a while, it would totally make sense. But for now, you’ll have to just take my word that I have a good reason.

Even though my posts won’t be as frequent until the second quarter or so of 2017, I am still here. I will still continue to update my Dividend Portfolio page with the accurate number of total dividends expected to be received per year. I’m also going to see how I can supercharge the speed of my investments in 2017. But that may be difficult. As you can see, right now I’m only contributing to XOM and even that is tough to do every month. There really is a reason why the tagline for this site says “a portfolio for the small investor.” That’s because, even though I’m able to invest in dividend income, I only have a small amount of funds from which I can draw from to invest.

That’s not to say I’m not doing anything else with my money. I’ve talked about some of those plans in other posts. Also, when I return, I’ll update my plans and goals for 2017 as well as report on how 2016 went. So, even though I’m going to be absent for a while, still keep the comments coming. Check out the resources page and some of the other dividend income blogs. Don’t forget though to check back on the site for future updates.

Not a problem DP. It looks like great minds do think alike after all.
