I just wanted to give everyone an update. If you look carefully, you’ll see that the RSS feed I had on the blog has been removed. In April 2017 I wrote a blog post entitled: Backup Your Blog – New Feature Added. I wrote that blog, because, at the time, Dividend Portfolio was inaccessible for a few hours. The culprit at the time was the RSS feed I was using. It was a paid-for service, but I liked the look and feel of it on the site.
Well, recently, the same thing happened again. The problem was readily fixed but the culprit was the same. I again had an issue with the RSS feed which caused the site to not load. So, to finally solve the problem, I decided to remove the feed from the blog.
So, the bad news is that there isn’t a section on the blog that updates the recent posts of my favorite bloggers. I guess the good news is I don’t have to keep paying for that plugin. I know there are free ones to use, but I’m almost too scared to try. In case you’re interested, check out Wikipedia to learn more about RSS feeds.
